Kitchen Wall Renovation

It started with a single loose tile. You know the kind—the one that rattles slightly when you're just trying to boil a kettle. At Studio Drafting London, we don't do things by halves. We decided that the tile had to go. Then its neighbor had to go. Then, the entire wall decided to leave too.

Oops! The wall came with it... 🏗️

Renovating a kitchen wall can be a challenging yet rewarding project. In this case, the old tiles were firmly adhered with cement but began to detach, taking portions the wall with them. This issue stemmed from being installed over an aging render that was deteriorating, leading to cracks and eventual breakage. Once the tiles were removed, the wall revealed bare bricks and exposed cables, requiring careful attention. We filled the holes with cement, plastered the surface for a smooth finish, and then installed new PVC panels for a fresh, modern look. The renovation was completed by restoring the old table and adding new decor, transforming the kitchen into a vibrant and functional space.
